Facilities may be reserved and used for meetings, lectures, seminars, guest speakers, and cultural affairs, subject to space and staff availability. Not pets are allowed at The History Center with the exception of service animals. The History Center reserves the right to deny eligibility to groups it believes are inconsistent with its educational mission and its core values.
When possible and appropriate, The History Center will promote events that are open to the public on our website, and public list serve. For public events, The History Center requests review of publicity, including radio, print, and television coverage before being sent to the media.
Kitchen facilities (refrigerator, sink and gallery prep area) are available for use at no additional cost. It is the responsibility of the user to leave them in a clean and orderly condition following usage. If The History Center determines that the facilities have not been properly managed, additional cleaning and rental charges of at least $75.00 will be applied.
A non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is due at the time the rental is scheduled. Full payment is due upon receipt of invoice and within two weeks prior to the scheduled event. Additional fees may incur if rental agreement is broken by the renter or if additional time or clean up is required. Reservations for the use of space will be finalized upon receipt of payment by The History Center.
