New & Noteworthy Collections - Ithaca Board of Zoning Appeals

Wed, December 07, 2022 6:25 PM | Anonymous

Ithaca's Board of Zoning Appeals oversees the enforcement of local laws regarding land use for real property within the city. One of the ways the Board documents their work is by photographing properties that are under appeal at a given time. The Board recently donated hundreds of images that had been used in appeals from the 1970s and 1980s to our photograph collections, giving us a rich and useful body of images of the local built environment from the late 20th century.
