COMMUNITY PARTNERS

The History Center collaborates with many organizations throughout Tompkins County each year on various events and programs.

We are excited to be able to offer our event spaces at the Tompkins Center for History & Culture to other local history and heritage organizations for their community use.

We're also proud members of many regional and statewide associations dedicated to education, historic preservation, and recognition of our statewide history.

BUILDING PARTNERS AT THE TOMPKINS CENTER FOR HISTORY & CULTURE

The History Center shares a collaborative building space on the Ithaca Commons established in 2019. The Tompkins Center for History & Culture houses the office spaces for 12 local non-profits. The first floor is a public area with the Community Arts Partnership ArtSpace/Ithaca College Gallery, the Downtown Visitors Center, and The History Center Exhibit Hall and Research Library. Explore the work and programs of our building partners through their websites below.
