IthaKITty - Sew Your Own! **Stock is VERY limited and will not be re-stocked** The Ithaca Kitty or 'Arnold Tabby' was a simple toy pattern patented in 1892 by Celia Mattison Smith and her sister-in-law Charity Smith. The toy design was modeled after Celia's polydactyl cat Caesar Grimalkin. The toy was popular worldwide for much of the 20th century and now you can make your own! Learn about this iconic toy at thehistorycenter.net/ithaca-kitty The Sew Your Own kit includes: - Itha-Kitty 3-panel cotton pattern (2017 re-design edition with polydactyl paws) - Sewing Instructions pamphlet - Tale of Caesar Grimalkin history handout Finished toy will be about 14" tall at the tip of the ears, base is 7" long. *Additional supplies will be needed to complete construction (needle, thread, pins, stuffing material).
