Tour: What’s Happening Downtown?

Over the last 10+ years, downtown Ithaca has changed remarkably, with new development, restoration and refurbishment of the Ithaca Commons, and implementation of the City of Ithaca’s strategic plan and new rezoning regulations in city code. Join Downtown Ithaca Alliance Executive Director Gary Ferguson and Historic Ithaca Executive Director Susan Holland as they offer a downtown guided tour to explore recent developments happening in the urban core. The tour takes place Tuesday, August 28, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Meet at Press Bay Alley, 118 West Green Street. While the tour is free, donations will be graciously accepted. Registration is required. Spaces are limited, so reserve soon. The tour is part of the ongoing "Development in Ithaca and Tompkins County: Past, Present, and Future" series organized by The History Center in Tompkins County.
