Do you know the story of No Face Doll?
Join us, Saturday, November 9th, at 2 p.m., to learn a piece of Haudenosaunee culture from Penny Miner. This is a ticketed event. From the Allegany Territory and the Seneca Nation, Penelope is a traditional Seneca Artist who has been practicing her art since her youth. Her art forms include black ash basketry, corn husk dolls and beadwork, and are all influenced by her family who inspired her to continue the traditions. At this event she'll tell the story of a corn husk doll and lead the group in creating their own dolls to bring home.
There are limited spots available and tickets are required for each participant who would like to make and bring home a doll.
